8 Now speak to my servant David. Tell him that the LORD Almighty says:

‘I took you from the fields where you were following the sheep in the fields. I took you from there to be the ruler of my people Israel. 9 I have been with you in every place that you went. I took away all your enemies. Now I will make your name great. It will be as great as the names of the greatest men on the earth.
